AL2210D is a high sensitivity 28Gb/s trans-impedance amplifier (TIA). It has 7k of small-signal differential trans-impedance gain and consumes 100mW using a 3.3V power supply. AL2210D offers very high dynamic range due to its low input referred noise of 2uA (rms) and its high input overload of 4mApp. This TIA provides a photodiode bias voltage and an accurate received-signal-strength-indicator (RSSI) to monitor the average photodiode current. AL2210D also provides a bandwidth/peaking adjustment function to allow the user to optimize optical receiver frequency response.
